Northern Oklahoma College–Enid sophomore forward KeJuan Payne delivered one of the most dominant performances of the Region II season, erupting for 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals in a high-paced 110–102 win. The 6’6 versatile forward showcased the full range of his scoring package, attacking downhill, drawing contact, and punishing defenders in space.
Payne was relentless from the opening tip, shooting 9-for-14 from the field and controlling the paint with both power and finesse. But where he separated himself was at the line: 12-for-14 on free throws, consistently converting pressure opportunities and making the opposing defense pay for every foul. His ability to finish through contact, combined with a confident free-throw rhythm, made him nearly unguardable throughout the night.
Beyond the scoring burst, Payne’s 7 rebounds played a critical role in keeping possessions alive and stabilizing NOC–Enid during momentum swings. His 2 steals added to a defensive presence that often goes overlooked — jumping lanes, disrupting ball-handlers, and turning defense into transition chances.
Payne has already established himself as one of Region II’s most versatile scorers, but performances like this elevate him into a different tier. He’s scoring efficiently, rebounding with purpose, and consistently impacting both ends of the floor. As NOC–Enid pushes deeper into its schedule, Payne’s blend of size, mobility, and assertiveness continues to make him a matchup problem for every team they face.
For a program built on grit and high-tempo execution, KeJuan Payne delivered the exact kind of complete performance that fuels wins — and raises ceilings.
